Eureka Community Services is excited to celebrate the hard work of dedicated volunteers who help make our city better! All throughout September we will be celebrating Volunteer Month with volunteer events every Saturday, culminating in a Volunteer Celebration Block Party at Hammond Park. 

This event will start with some light gardening in tandem with Centro Del Pueblo’s ongoing volunteer efforts from 11am-12pm and then we will get the party started! 

Starting at 12pm (noon) we will have free food, music, face painter, activities, and other volunteer organizations tabling. At 12:30 pm we will be presenting volunteer leaders with patches for appreciation of their service leading volunteer efforts in Eureka, and doing the opportunity drawing for people who have attended our events throughout the month! Volunteers who attend any event(s) throughout the month will have the opportunity to win a gift card from Pacific Outfitters, Dutch Bros, or Jitter Bean, and those who attend all 5 volunteer events have the opportunity to win a $250 Pierson’s Building Center gift card!

This event is kid-friendly but kids need to be accompanied and managed by their guardian/s.
