We discussed how the Town Hall went, the state of mental health in our community, and responded to some of the write-in questions that we didn't have time to get to during the original meeting.
Please be sure to share the news with friends and family, and participate in these events when and how you can. Mental health is the most important aspect of overall wellness for both individuals and communities as a whole. We are committed to supporting the mental health of our community members and ensuring there are open, public environments in which we can all come together to share resources, knowledge, and address problems we face as a team.
Note: The first of our Town Halls could not have been accomplished without the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services, the Public Defenders office, and the Eureka Police Department.
