Fitness Programs at the Adorni Center
The Adorni Memorial Recreation Center was made possible by a generous bequest from the late Harry J. Adorni to the City of Eureka. Developed and operated by the City, this multi-use public recreation center commemorates Harry Adorni's deep affection for his beloved "North of Fourth" neighborhood.
The Adorni Center is a fitness facility that includes many services reserved exclusively for their members. These services include drop-in gymnasium, unlimited aerobic and fitness classes, unlimited use of the weight room, and private locker rooms. This facility also includes event rental opportunities for a variety of meetings and events.
Types of Fitness Memberships and Fees
Add $5.00 per month for non-Eureka residents
First month includes initiation fee.
Disability, Veteran & Military discounts and Corporate Memberships are available.

Yoga | This class focuses on traditional Hatha and Raja Yoga using an AYAMA approach (applied yoga anatomy and muscle activation). Light & Lively | Join Bonnie to experience the joy of movement. The perfect class for beginning exercisers and seniors. It's low impact with a focus on range of motion to help increase muscle strength and stamina. | Low |
Zumba Fitness | Nothing is better than a workout that doesn't feel like a workout. Join our talented Zumba instructors for a class that is fun, energetic and makes you feel amazing! | Moderate to High |
Zumba Gold | This class offers a slower style Zumba experience. Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind experience. Routines feature interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt your body. | Low |
Strong by Zumba | Stop counting reps. Start training to the beat. Combine body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to music specifically designed to matched every move. | Moderate to High |
Beginner / Intermediate Line Dance | A new look at line dancing with a soulful feel from your "Soul to your sole." Perfect for all levels of experience. Music includes all genres from old time country to current hits. | Low to Moderate |
Warrior Rhythm | Fitness-focused with yoga undertones, WARRIOR Rhythm increases strength, flexibility and balance through movement and musical motivation. | Moderate to High |
Warrior Strength | WARRIOR Strength is a 60-minute class comprising two 30-minute sections. Cardio Countdown emphasizes cardiovascular conditioning, for maximum caloric expenditure. Get Pumped focuses on strength to tighten, tone and sculpt your muscles. | Moderate to High |
Silver Sneakers Classic | Focus on strengthening muscles and increasing range of motion for daily life activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball. Often a chairs i used for seated exercises or standing support. | Low |
Silver Sneakers Tai-Chi | EnerChi is comprised of easy-to-learn, modified tai-chi forms aimed at improving well-being. Low impact movements are practiced in a slow, flowing sequence to progress strength, balance and focus. Chair support is offered to facilitate standing stability and seated exercise options. | Low |
Silver Sneakers Yoga | Move through seated and standing yoga poses to increase flexibility, balance and range of motion. A chair is used to meet a variety of fitness levels. This class is suitable for beginners to advanced yogis, and it provides breathing exercises and relaxation without the strain on your joints. | Low |
Don't have a fitness membership? No problem! The Adorni Center offers drop-in fitness opportunities for a daily fee. Choose to attend a fitness class, use the cardio and weight equipment or play pick-up basketball, pickleball or volleyball.
